Corrosion Inhibitor Testing
The use of corrosion inhibitors to prevent or reduce corrosion is a major method of corrosion control throughout industry. Typical examples are the oil and gas production industry and your domestic heating systems.
The key to the use of inhibitors is selecting the correct one, based on technical performance and cost, with the optimum dosing level. The Corrosion Department at STL is equipped to carry out inhibitor selection testing over a wide range of conditions using a variety of techniques.
