Test Bed
A test bed and associated loading frames, having a capacity in tension or compression of up to 10 Tonne. The larger of the two loading frames has a working area of 3 metres long, 2 metres wide and 1.7 metres high.

The smaller loading frame and test bed has a working area of 1.5 metres long, 1.2 metres wide and 1.2 metres high.

The load may be applied axially or at an angle. This equipment is used for product development and quality control testing.

Horizontal Testing Machine
2000 kN Horizontal Testing Machine which can test items in tension, compression or torsion. This machine is capable of loading samples up to 2000kN in tension and 1800kN in compression.

The Testing Machine can accommodate a sample, 4 metres long in tension and 2 metres long in compression. It may also carry out torsion tests up to 20000 Nm.
